It was great to read a new Future Telescope post! Regarding the AI tools with Punit referenced: Jan is the most interesting to me. I am interested in checking out an offline large language model available through the Jan project. I don't have a specific LLM in mind to try because I don't know what options are available. Question: Where should I search on the GitHub page for downloadable files? In my review of the page, I can't find where or how to download anything. I already tried searching for the words "download" and "readme" on Jan Releases page.

Thank you for the URL to download Jan. I have downloaded the Jan package for Windows. Speaking of AI tools, I highly recommend trying out the PI ai, created by Inflection AI. Although internet access is required, PI is a conversational AI which is, in my months of experience, fun to talk to and a useful AI tool. It is currently free for everyone to use with no limit on number of messages per day. I think I mentioned PI in a previous Future Telescope post comment. I want to mention PI again because I still enjoy using it. The PI website is: https://pi.ai/talk

Yes I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. I'll definitely add it to my list of tools to check out myself.
